New Year’s Eve | ZBW

If you’re here reading this, you made it through another year — and that alone matters more than we give it credit for.

If I’m being honest, the new year is really difficult for me. It forces reflection — on the year behind me and the uncertainty of what’s ahead. It’s hard not to look back on the past year and feel everything all at once — the wins, the losses, the things that still ache. A new year feels like a clear timeline… 12 months, a whole year laid out in front of you. And that brings up a lot of emotions I don’t always know what to do with. Seeing time broken into a neat “12 months” can feel overwhelming, like there’s pressure attached to it. It brings up a lot of emotions, and not all of them are easy or exciting.

This year didn’t break me — but it did bend me in ways I’ll be honest about.

New Year’s Eve always makes me pause.

Not because I’m excited about resolutions — but because I know how much it took to get here. This year held depression, intrusive thoughts, and moments where surviving felt like an achievement on its own. There were days I wasn’t sure I’d reach this moment. But I did. And if you did too, I see you.

So as we step into January 1st, I’m not setting resolutions from a place of pressure. I’m setting intentions from a place of survival and self-respect.

My goals for the year:

• Move my body every day (10k steps daily)

• Quit sugar & fast food (my morning coffee & a Tim’s farmers wrap are my exception 🤭)

• Read & journal every night

• Continue choosing sobriety

• No social media (only FB for my businesses)

• Meal prep every Sunday (same meals everyday)

• Set a sleep schedule

• Less TV → more reading (one book a month)

• Do callisthenics daily

• Hire employees for my cleaning business

• Get my ZBW products in multiple stores / run my own store

• Being in a calorie deficit (for my own health goals — confidence included)

• Take vitamins daily

• Continue growing Zen by Wren — and intentionally building a community rooted in unapologetic authenticity, healing, and connection

• Improve with pole dancing

• Pay back student loans

• Fall asleep to frequencies nightly

• Oil pull every 2 days

• Start my podcast

• Go on nightly walks

Not because I hate myself — but because I want to take care of the version of me who kept going.

These are intentions — not rules. Some will stick, some will shift, and that’s okay.

I want to build something real this year — a space where we can be honest about goals and setbacks, progress and pauses. A community where we check in on each other, encourage each other, and look back one day knowing we didn’t do it alone. If you’re comfortable, I’d love to hear your goals — big or small. Drop them in the comments or message me. Let’s motivate each other, check in throughout the year, and in 2027 look back and say: we showed up.

And if your only goal right now is simply to stay — that counts too. 🤍

Much love,
